We ended September with the Central Washington State Fair in Yakima. The boys got to show cows in the Pee Wee Division. They were very excited about doing this again this year. Kaden was thrilled to win the money ($5) and Brandt was so VERY proud of his blue ribbon. We stayed at a rather nice hotel (thank heavens for hotwire.com) and had a rather good time (which I ceratinly can't say about most of the cattle events I GET to attend.) Brad also showed his cattle the next day and did well. Here are some picts of the event:

We were really impressed with Kaden's cattle abilities he displayed - not inherited from my side of the family in any way.
Brad helped Brandt who gets a little giddy when he is excited. He did a good job though.
Macey and I were sure to stay out of the ring. Not my cup of tea.

Your little cowboys are so cute. I would be a little frightened to walk a large cow around an arena, and especially for only $5. Kaden makes it look like a piece of cake. I loved seeing Brandt walk into church on Sunday with that blue ribbon, he was so very proud.

DARLING pictures! Way to go boys! We are so proud of them and wish we could have been there to see them show their cows. Macy is so DANG BEAUTIFUL. I want to squeeze her!
