MY MACEY IS 1!!!!

I really can not believe it - Macey turned ONE today! We got her pictures taken at the Picture People. She LOVED the attention. This last year has FLOWN. She really has been quite a challenge with her acid-reflux issues, colic and neediness. But at the same time, she melts our hearts and is the CENTER of all the attention here in our home. She LOVES her brothers and often sneaks into their room after "bedtime" to get them all riled up (and in trouble). She is starting to walk and loves the "cheering" and "celebrations" that brings. She loves to point and stare - two habits we will need to be breaking soon. She also is very curious and is totally ambitious. She won't give up on anything. She has finally started to eat some table food although she was such a PICKY eater (and still is). She is also a total fraidy cat - scared when the horse runs in the pasture, freightened of sea gulls, and often hangs her head as if to hide when she sees imposing danger i.e. my dad. Macey loves to stare outside and escape out too if she is given the chance. Be forewarned that my glass front door is constantly covered in fingerprints and some cracker crumbs. Thanks, Mace! She LOVES her daddy. And I'd like to say she is just as fond of me - but I am not sure that I win. But she does love the attention she gets from her parents. But we love her to pieces and can't imagine a life without her.

She's so cute! One year old already? Wow, time flies! ...And Macey, don't worry, even the nieces and nephews hang their heads down low when they see their 'dangerous' Uncle Eric approaching. :) He likes to tip their rafts over at Priest Lake. But don't worry, I think you're safe!

Oh little sweetheart, Happy Birthday! I'm so sorry that I missed it! I already have the idea of what I'm doing for her gift, but it hasn't been made yet... Cannot wait to see her in a couple months, I miss you guys!
