After consulting with our dental connections (thanks for the phone support Carrie & Eric), Brad talked to Adam Harker (a dentist who Brad used to go to school with) who gave us some good insight and was willing to have Brandt come over and take a look. Now that's what a good dentist does on a Sat night!
They were able to push it forward - much to Brandt's discomfort although a lot of swelling had already set in. It would have been much easier and crucial to have that done right after the accident. We did try to push it forward on our own at that time- but let's face it, we didn't know what we were doing and probably weren't using enough force. Plus it was causing a lot of pain on our child - we were unqualified for such a feat.
Now we are just hoping the tooth stays strong and in place. It could just decide to fall out or become discolored - that's out of our hands. I'll update you on what we find out come Monday.

oh the poor kid! Ouch! Atleast he didn't cut up his cute face...His tooth didn't look too bad, I hope he's feeling better now!
I don't think we have your email & we just went private with our blog, so if you'd like, email me & I'll invite you in! Thanks and hope that little boy is okay!:)
p.s. our email is jmstpa@msn.com
Yay! So he'll have two front teeth for pictures??? I'm glad that the outlook for his tooth is a little brighter!
oh Wendy . . . poor Brandt! What a tough little cookie. He looked like he bounced right back though! I would have reacted the same way you did - so if you think you're a "bad Mom" count me in there with ya!! ;)
Hey Wendy,
I'm just checking in to see how Brandt was doing. Did you guys make it to the pictures?
I hope so, cause he still is a cutie!
When I saw him on Sunday you could hardly tell, his face wasn't that scratched...
Well, I hope you still decided to go to the pictures! Your family is so cute!
Poor little guy! I am glad that you finally got through to someone. What a relief! Hope everything works out.
