I recognize that I am a terrible blogger and the truth is it didn't even make it on my new year's resolutions (I have too many other things I need to do better at) but I did want to get some quick opinions for a Valentine card idea for part of an Enrichment Activity on this coming Tuesday. It needs to be EASY enough that all ladies of all ages can make it in a short amount of time, but it also needs to be cute enough to be worth it. So here are the two choices I came up with. Those who know me - know I can't ever make up my own decisions (I like to make up everyone else's for them, but not my own) and so I would appreciate some input. Non-traditional colors - and the pink scallop edge really does match the pink heart perfectly (its the same paper) although it doesn't appear that way with my perfection photography. The flower also has a little jewel on it.
Traditional deep red - which once again the hearts match the paper perfectly. The center heart is popped up and is blinged out with some glitter, which you might not be able to tell. Also the red paper has a textured line on it so it really isn't so boring.
What would you rather make at an Enrichment?

I think I might come home just for this activity. I really need some lessons on card making from you. I love them both but I like the 1st one the best.
Love them both--the ladies will die for either of them! I think I am leaning towards the first one if you are forcing me to pick...
I like them both but for Valentines I would pick the second one myself. For all other occasions I would pick the first but there is something about the deep red that I like for that day.
Cute ideas.
Wendy, again, I love both of them, but I think, along with my mom and Tara who are looking also, that we would choose the first one. Let me know if you need help cutting out.
I love the top one! But the other one's fine too, it seems like it'd be easier to put together.
They are both great. I personally love red so if I had to choose it would be the second one...but really they are both fabulous!!
I like the non-traditional colored one best. It looks a little more complicated, and thus, would be more worth it.
They are both awesome, as your cards always are, but if you are looking for me to commit to one and only one, my vote is for the top one.
I like them both, but since I can't seem to do anything on time these days, I'd prefer the first one. Then I could use it on V-day or on another occassion if I forget to get my act together. I seriously think you're super mom.
So with a lot of indecision, I decided to do the red one. It involved the least amount of prep work and eleviates the concern of mixing inks and messing up ink pads(since it only uses red ink for the hearts.) The ladies tend to go a little crazy with their own creativity and this usually results in some destroyed ink pads. Simple, but just fine. Thanks for your input - I personally liked the first one best but went for simplicity - my new feat in life.
